Berlin, Germany’s capital, dates to the 13th century. Reminders of the city’s turbulent 20th-century history include its Holocaust memorial and the Berlin Wall’s graffitied remains. Divided during the Cold War, its 18th-century Brandenburg Gate has become a symbol of reunification.
4 hour walking tour (Click link for details on tour) with Walid… a brit and originally from Bangladesh!

A history enthusiast!!!!
We walked visited all the sites and then some! The ugly History! Best to remember the ugly so we don’t forget and repeat it!
The memorial to the Jews murdered in Europe was just surreal. The Berlin wall and checkpoint Charlie will give you pause as to it must have been like!
Very pretty city, but the history makes you think about horrors that were created and executed by the Nazis! Very difficult to separate your feelings!
