Rugby – the Sport
Rugby is said to have originated at Rugby School in Warwickshire, England, in 1823 when during a game of football, William Webb Ellis decided to pick up a ball and go with it. Although there is very little evidence to support this theory, the Rugby World Cup Trophy is now named after William Webb Ellis.
Got picked up at train station by Anil and we head straight to Anil and Pragnas home. My first visit to their home. Anil is my BIL’s best friend!
We met a few years back in San Antonio and we have been like brother and sister ever since!
Anil made a lovely dinner and we topped off the night with some wine!
Next day we head to a small village called Leamington… we have lunch and meet their son Oliver! We then head to a cute cocktail bar!
For dinner we are too full from lunch so we pick up some cheeses to have with wine in the evening! Great cheeses here!
The next morning we walk around Rugby town, beautiful little town!
We walk by a beauty Salon called Ami!
Anil points out all the spots that my BIL told him to show me! School, home etc!
Thank you Anil & Pragna for a great time! Enjoyed the visit!
